Herbal Infused Face Oil
1oz dropper bottle

My Herbal Infused Face Oil only contains ingredients that you can recognize and pronounce. Cold-pressed non-GMO certified Avocado Oil infused with organic herbs and then mixed with certified non-GMO Vitamin E Oil.

Why these ingredients? We have a range of skin types in our household. This oil is suitable for all of them. Dry, sensitive, mature, and acne prone. When we started using our own homemade line of skin care, those problems virtually disappeared. Now I would like to share them with you. This oil absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized all day. It only takes a few drops to make a BIG difference. And I know it can seem counterintuitive to use oil on your face, but keep reading to find out why it really is an awesome idea.

To Use:
After washing your face, apply 3-4 drops to your fingertips and massage gently. Can be used in the morning, evening, or both. Be sure to store away from direct sunlight.

Avocado Oil* - The antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents in avocado oil help your skin stay smooth, strong, and elastic. It calms itchy skin, heals chapped skin, replenishes dry skin, hydrates and moisturizes skin, shields skin from ultraviolet radiation, and protects against skin damage. Avocado oil is quick to absorb and non-greasy. The beta carotene, protein, lecithin, fatty acids, and vitamins A, D, and E found in avocado oil help moisturize and protect your skin from damaging UV rays and also increase collagen metabolism. The linoleic acid, oleic acid, and other monosaturated fatty acids in avocado oil can speed up wound healing.

Lavender - This flower helps heal skin irritations and can be used for all skin types. It can cleanse cuts, scrapes, burns, and irritations and can also calm down stressed skin. It’s considered beneficial for acne and redness but can also be helpful for sensitive and mature skin.

Calendula - Calendula is anti-inflammatory. Inflammation is the root of a lot of skin evil. You can blame inflammation for your breakouts, rosacea, eczema, sensitivity, even a breakdown of collagen. All these inflammatory skin conditions can benefit from calendula’s soothing effects. The linoleic acid in calendula oil or extract, can also nourish your skin from the outside. They give your skin cells the ability to absorb nutrients and hold onto water longer (great for those with perpetually dry skin). On the surface, this will look like more supple, nourished, smoother skin. For hundreds of years, calendula has been a go-to ingredient for wound healing. The healing properties come from calendula’s ability to increase blood flow and oxygen to the skin. This increased blood flow to your skin means more nutrition, which helps your skin function at its healthiest and therefore look its best. In the short term, the nourishing benefits of calendula help to plump the surface of your skin to give you tighter, more supple skin almost instantly. In the long term, both the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help to protect your precious collagen and elastin supply.

Chamomile - Chamomile can treat a variety of skin conditions which include cracked skin, burns, acne, eczema, inflammation, sensitive skin and rosacea—just to name a few. It’s naturally anti-inflammatory and calming, making it a great choice for sensitive and allergic skin.

Hibiscus - One of the most powerful anti-aging plants, Hibiscus has a magical reputation for increasing skin elasticity to give a stunning natural youth-boost. With the incredible ability to inhibit the activity of the enzyme elastase, which is responsible for breaking down our skin’s precious elastin, Hibiscus actively combats the aging process by firming and lifting your skin. Hibiscus is rich in antioxidants, called anthocyanocides. Antioxidants are proven to help fight skin damaging free radicals which spawn when pollutants such as ultraviolet radiation and traffic pollution make contact with the skin, and can result in premature skin aging. Not only do anthocyanocides protect against free radical damage, they also have slightly astringent properties, helping to reduce the appearance of large pores for a smoother complexion. They also have an anti-inflammatory effect and can help to soothe inflamed skin, making Hibiscus suitable for those prone to very sensitive skin. The high mucilage content of Hibiscus enhances the skin’s ability to retain moisture, which is a key factor in retaining a youthful complexion. The naturally moisture rich qualities of Hibiscus helps skin stay hydrated, soft and supple for longer, keeping dry, dull skin at bay.

Peppermint - Though peppermint can be used on any skin type, it’s especially helpful for oily and combination skin, as it helps balance natural oils. That means fewer clogged pores. Peppermint naturally cleanses the skin and has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It has a cooling effect which soothes irritation and inflammation due to acne. Thanks to its high menthol content, peppermint oil can help soothe chapped skin, which is at its worst in winter. Peppermint has a cooling effect that refreshes congested and oily skin. Peppermint has cleansing properties to keep skin looking healthy and clear. Peppermint has an astringent effect that functions to tone skin. Peppermint refreshes and balances flaky skin. Peppermint’s energizing scent helps invigorate, alleviating tension caused by stress.

Yarrow - Yarrow has a broad anti-bacterial, antiseptic and antimicrobial action. It’s also anti-inflammatory and especially effective against acne, spots and blemishes. Yarrow is a powerful antioxidant due to flavonoids, one of it’s active ingredients. That makes it an excellent hydrating herb. Yarrow is useful to stop all kinds of bleeding, as well as for healing wounds and skin disorders. It’s especially good for old sores that are slow to heal.

Vitamin E* - Vitamin E, a skin soothing antioxidant, helps keep your skin lipid barrier intact and discourages sebum oxidation to prevent blackheads. It also encourages long lasting moisture retention, up to 16 hours of hydration. Not only is it beneficial for the skin, it also keeps cosmetics from going rancid.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why are most of your reviews two years old?

My family and I made the decision to sell our home and travel full time for a year. During that time my shop was on vacation. Also during that time one of my children became seriously ill which extended my hiatus to the full two years. Thank you 2020. We are once again settled and my son is for the most part back to being a healthy teenager so it is time for me to get back in business. I thank all of my previous customers who stayed in touch during that time and can’t wait to serve new ones now that I am open again.

2. Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Many of our listings are now or in the very near future available with free shipping! On top of that, all qualifying domestic orders over $35 ship for free. So even if the item you want isn't part of the free shipping crew, you may be able to qualify by just adding another item or two to your cart.

All orders with free shipping with a total item weight of 16 oz or less will be shipped USPS First Class Package when possible.

3. Where can I learn about herbs?

It is my belief that anyone can learn about herbal actions without having to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for someone to hold their hand and issue them a piece of paper. That includes you. You can find my own complete herbal write-ups for free at www.witchygypsymomma.com. These include culinary, medicinal, and magickal properties including holistic uses, recipes, and simple spells. Again, I encourage you to jump into your own education and research. You are smart enough to recognize what plants are safe enough for your comfort level and to prepare them in ways to benefit your body. You can do this!

4. Does a Tarot reading really work if I’m not there to pick the cards?

Absolutely. Divine energy is inside and flows around everything. That includes you and me. Have you ever just known something has happened to someone even though you’re nowhere near them? You probably had a really strong connection with them and the energy that flowed between you alerted you that something had happened. Or when you experience deja vu? Yep. Tapping into that energy. The idea is that by focusing my intent, my energy, on you and your question, I can tap into that energy as well to influence the cards since it is your energy and not your actual touch that affect them.

5. Are there any restrictions to your Tarot readings?

Yes. I will not read for anyone under the age of 18. I will not directly question matters of life and death. We’re all going to die some day. We don’t need the details. That also includes pregnancy. I’m a mother of four who struggled to conceive and then miscarried. I know the emotions that go into those circumstances. Sometimes the cards are loud enough not to be denied in these matters, but I will not ask about them directly. I am also not a doctor or lawyer. By law I can not give legal or medical advice. By law I also have to state that these readings are for entertainment purposes only. I make no guarantees to the outcomes of any reading or any other magickal matters.

6. Medical Disclaimer and Limit of Liability Statement

I am not a doctor. I hold no certifications or licenses. Any medical claims are based on my own herbal studies. All products are NOT approved or evaluated by the FDA. 7. Sourcing and Production Disclaimer and Limit of Liability Statement

My products are organically sourced from farmers and wholesalers who produce, cultivate, and clean according to organic standards. These spices, herbs, and teas are produced in full accordance to organic standards but cannot be labeled as certified organic because my facility is not certified for organic production. If a product is not organic it will be labeled as such in the product description. Essential Oils are certified non-GMO and carry a Seed to Seal standard, but they are not certified organic.

8. Divination and Magickal Items Disclaimer and Limit of Liability Statement

Tarot readings and other methods of divination are for entertainment purposes only. I am not a doctor or a lawyer and am therefore unable to provide medical or legal advice.
Magickal items sold online are also for personal entertainment purposes only. The desired result/outcome cannot be guaranteed as a result of using any magickal item, and should not be used as a replacement for medical/professional assistance.
